Gravel driveway installation & repair

New gravel driveways, regrades, re-rock, pothole and washboard repair, and the drainage that keeps a rural drive from turning into a rut every spring.

What we do

Why a good gravel driveway lasts

A gravel driveway that keeps failing is usually a drainage and base problem, not a rock problem. Dumping more gravel on a flat, wet sub-grade just buries the issue for a season. We shape a crown so water sheds, cut ditches or set culverts so it has somewhere to go, use fabric over soft soils, and compact the rock in lifts.

Gravel vs. asphalt

Gravel is the right call for many Alaska properties — long drives, softer budgets, or ground that's still settling. Asphalt wins for shorter drives close to the house where you want a clean, low-maintenance, plowable surface. We do both and will give you the honest comparison for your site.
